Firefox na Android Community Forum

Just recently Firefox has gotten really slow to open. Sometimes it won't open at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it which helped for about 2 tries. I thought it might be a problem with my phone but chrome loads instantly. Once it does open it's slow to go wherever I try to go and sometimes just quits and takes me back to the home screen.

I've noticed that Firefox for Android has become noticeably slower when loading certain websites, while the same pages open quickly in other mobile browsers.

I've already tried:

Clearing the cache Restarting the app Updating Firefox to the latest version

The issue still occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? Are there any settings or troubleshooting steps I should try to improve browsing performance on Firefox for Android?

I can't find latest Firefox apk for my android. It only shows play store link. I tried signing up for Gmail account but that requires phone number verification these days. Never in my life was creating a Gmail account so much hard. It doesn't even give option to get code on some other number. The only option it shows is to insert a sim and google will verify itself which is kinda annoying. Please share the latest official Firefox apk link. It's impossible for me to create Gmail account as there is no Sim in my phone.

Hello, I have Firefox for Android 151.0.4 on a Samsung A50 with Android 9. On the SD card of the device I have several pdf files which can be opened with Adobe Acrobat with no problems. Instead, when I go to the device's file manager, move to that SD card, long-tap on one of those pdf files, tap on the three dots to see more options, choose "Open with" and finally select Firefox, I have that Firefox opens with a "File not found" page and the address bar shows, for instance "content://media/external/file/22098" while the pdf file I tried opening is "/SD Card/Test.pdf".

Is it possible to open local pdf files on my device with Firefox for Android? In the positive case, how can I do it in my case?

pixel 6 bookmarks are not syncing to desktop. I am signed in on both the pixel and desktop. Have used the QR code. Tried several times after rebooting both the phone and desktop. I have folders and subfolders set up on the pixel 6 for several hundred bookmarks.

Is that possible within Firefox for Android (or on PC)? Or do you have other suggestions for that?

In Firefox, I often can't read something produced with Google. I also have difficulty printing from my mobile phone when using my Firefox browser. Could this be caused by either Google or Microsoft?

When I leave FF and open it again after some time I would get a black screen and the app would not show the content on the current page or query a new search for several seconds which gets annoying when doing multitasking

Hello, Firefox mobile browser developers, I have a small question. Will you be able to add a built-in video downloader in future updates? There are some websites where you can watch videos online, but there is no video download button. I wish your browser could recognize video streams, and it was possible to download videos/movies/TV series/anime in MP4 format for offline viewing

FF has stopped synced. Doesn't respond at all to "Sync now".

Already tried: Signing out/in Clearing cache Uninstalling/reinstalling

Another oddity: when I sign in, I get FOUR "New sign-in" emails.

Ideas, anyone?
